JS Accounting & Information Systems Consulting LLC (the company) was established in 2005 by John Stumph.  After leaving the construction industry where he served as a CFO in 2003.  After hurricane Katrina in 2005, John was being asked for accounting help.  He established the company to help small businesses with accounting and bookkeeping needs due to the increased demands created by the devastation from hurricane Katrina. 

Becoming a QuickBooks ProAdvisor in 2005, additional certifications were added for Intuit Enterprise and Point of Sale.  Since that time John has volunteered with Chambers of Commerce, Entrepreneur Centers and State of Mississippi agencies to provide educational classes for business start-ups and small businesses.  As the receipent of the Mississippi Small Business Financial Services Champion of the Year in 2012, he has shown his strong support for small business.

Laura Hendrix began assisting with the company in 2005 in a part-time capacity.  Her background of controller and CFO for several small businesses brings a wealth of knowledge to aid our small business clients.  Through her help we have expanded our service area from southern Mississippi and Louisiana to the Dallas Texas area.

In 2023 we expanded the products that we sell and support to include the point of sale and eCommerce software from Lightspeed and Shopify. In addition, Xero Accounting software and Onpay payroll software were added to our product offerings. With the addition of these products to the Intuit QuickBooks products we have supported since establishment of the company, we are able to give our clients quality product options for their businesses.
